Is Having A Hair Transplant Easier Than Ever Before? At True & Dorin It Is... No More Swelling....

NO MORE SWELLING!

What was once a common occurrence with hair transplantation, temporary post- operative swelling of the forehead and eyelids has now been virtually eliminated!  Over the last 6 months nearly all of our patients have reported little or no swelling after their procedure, allowing them a more comfortable and less restrictive healing period.  Our use of a tumescent steroid solution in the recipient area has been shown to reduce swelling by as much as 97%.  This is a significant breakthrough and will enable patients to recover faster and resume normal activities.

OTHER DEVELOPMENTS:

Quicker Healing Time

Because of the refined nature of our follicular unit transplant method, the healing time is quicker than ever before. We also offer GraftCyte to our patients to facilitate the healing process.  This product uses copper peptide technology that helps minimize scabbing, reduce redness, and expedite hair growth*.  In most cases, instead of 10-14 days, healing time may be as short as one week!  Again, a great way to resume normal working or social activities in less time…

Reduced Hair Shock

Shedding of native hair after a procedure has been a significant issue over the years from a post- operative standpoint.  This phenomenon occurs when a patient is not completely bald, but only occurs where the transplanted grafts were placed.  The native hair that is prone to shock is hair that is affected by the balding process and is in the last stages of existence.  Through modifications in our technique we now can minimize the loss of native hair and enable patients to return to a normal cosmetic appearance within 10-14 days.   Within the last year, most of our patients in a survey reported little or no shock of native hair and began enjoying the new growth of their transplanted hair within 3-4 months after treatment.

Is It Possible To Have A Nearly Invisible Donor Scar?  We Think So…

Trichophytic Donor Closure is an innovative technique used by Dr. True and Dr. Dorin to enable hair to grow through an already thin scar.  The result is a donor scar that is barely visible, even with short hair.  We believe this is one breakthrough patients have been waiting for.   In summary, Dr. True and Dr. Dorin have implemented changes which make having hair restoration easier than ever.  In addition, our constantly evolving techniques enable patients to achieve optimal cosmetic results.
