DR. DORIN explains: The hair restoration patient can expect, if they're completely bald in an area, to gain about the 20 to 25 percent of the density that they had originally, before they ever went bald, from one treatment. It makes a great clinical impact or result when it does grow in. It's not going to bring them back to the density of original native hair with one treatment. Even in successive treatments we approach it but never reach it. They can go to their - it's their own natural, living hair, rearranged. They could go to their hairstylists, have it cut, have it washed any way that they want. What we try to do is really recreate what was there before they had lost their hair. We don't try to create anything unnatural. We try to follow the direction and the angle of the hair that was on their head before.
