Name: A.H
Age: 28

A professional dancer and actor in New York City, A.H. began looking into solving his hair loss problem four years ago at age 24 when he had just begun thinning.  He consulted with Dr. True and a plan consisting of hair transplantation of 900 grafts to the hairline and trial of Propecia was devised.  Shown here is A.H. in March 2005.

While he agreed with the plan and was impressed with Dr. True and his staff, A.H. decided to postpone surgical treatment because he felt his hair loss was not severe enough.  He remained skeptical about Propecia.  He returned to our office a year later because he felt the progression had accelerated.  Photos confirmed his assertion but no steps were taken to address the problem.

Two years later (July 2003), A.H. returned to our office and had lost quite a bit more hair.

Hair loss was beginning to affect many aspects of his life, especially his professional life.   It was at this point that A.H decided to pursue treatment.  Because the balding area had increased so did the size of treatment.  He underwent a procedure of just under 2000 grafts to the front and top area.  A.H also began taking Propecia around the same time.  Shown here is the result one year later.  A.H. has since undergone a second procedure in September 2004.
