The Hair Loss doctors talk about hair transplantation

Why don't all doctors produce the same quality results?

DR. TRUE explains, poor results with a hair transplant can be the result of an inexperienced physician who may not be fully trained, who may not have had complete training. It can be the results of just differences in ability. Some people are able to reach a higher skill level than other people and produce the best hair transplant results. On the other hand, even though some doctors may know what they're doing they just may not be able to execute it.

No one should go into this field of medicine if they think that, oh, this is something I want to do to make money. Over the years as Dr. True has been doing this, from time to time, he'll have doctors who will come to him and say, "you know, I'm getting tired of doing obstetrics, gynecology, or I'm getting tired of anesthesiology. It looks like I could make a good living doing this, and it looks like it's easy." You know, Dr. True has had that said to him many times: "So why don't you train me, because I want to make a lot of money and just have an easy life too."

Well, they're dead wrong. That's not the reason to become a hair restoration surgeon. The reason to go into this field is because you like it, because it means something to you and it's what you really want to do. And it's not easy. To get really good hair transplant results you have to work hard at it. And every time he has trained somebody, they watch and they say, "oh, God, that looks so easy." But what they don't realize is that it's taken a lot of hard work to get to the point where it looks easy.
