Dr. Dorin talks about what led to his own decision to undergo hair transplantation.
DR. ROBERT J. DORIN: I couldn’t envision myself going bald, that’s the truth. It made me uncomfortable. A little bit self conscious at times. I guess if I had of been, maybe, 20 or 30 years older, maybe it wouldn’t have bothered me as much at that point in time. But in the mid to early 30s, starting to lose your hair, it is a little bit of a vanity issue. But it detracted from a little bit of self confidence. It detracted a little bit from how I perceive myself. And I projected that back into the world, which makes all the difference. So if I didn’t perceive myself that way, I wouldn’t have projected it and it wouldn’t have mattered. But it did matter to me. I think it matters to many men.
